Yes, it's been a while...

But if you had been used to using high speed, and moved to the boonies where high speed is not offered.... you would not spend as much time using dial up, now would you!?

Well, the only news I really have right now is that I am re-thinking this pregnancy! I found out today at my doctors visit that they do not offer epidurals in PEI! I'm going to die!!!!!! You guys know how I am with needles! Just think of this big baby making it through a delivery drugless!!!!!!!! UGH!

Ok, bed time...

It's scary, but you can do it. I had an epidural with Isaac, but it didn't have time to take...so I ended up doing it epi-free. I lived. It wasn't that bad. Isaac was a big baby...but when you have your second,(as my doctor so delicately puts it) "everything's all stretched out down there anyway, so..." :)

I agree with Kelly. I had an epi with Em but didn't have time with Abby. I was TERRIFIED! Even as I was pushing I was crying and telling Mark, my mom and my nurse that I needed my epidural! It wasn't as bad as I thought though Gwyn. My recovery was waaaaay better without it. Infact, if we do have another baby, I'm going to try to go epi free on purpose. :) You can do it Gwyn!

I agree with Liz, I am going to try to go "epi-free" with this baby, too (although, I know my chances are slim, because my body won't dialate without one). It stinks to have planned on one, though, just to find out this late you can't have one. There are other things they can do thought o help ease the pain!

You can do it! I recovered so much faster with my 2 natural deliveries than with my epidural one. Your body is made for it, and the Lord can and will give you the strength and the perseverance if you depend on Him for it. I wouldn't do an epidural again if I had the option. Honestly, I had a greater sense of awe in the Lord and in the way my body is so miraculously made after I experienced the full-blown natural deliveries, than I did with the epidural. I almost felt let-down after my epidural delivery, because I felt like I missed something.

You can do it! I don't have any personal experience, but I'm planning on drug-free next time (so long as I don't have to have another section), and know SO many people who have birthed drug free, your body is able to do it!

I echo: YOU CAN DO IT!!!!
I delivered a 9lb. 2 oz. baby med-free! Pushed my life away- but I did it...and I'm not a big girl either. And it wasn't even that bad. See if you can find a place where you can labor in a tub. It SO helps!
