Going on a road trip...

Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know that I am going out of town for a week. There wont be any new posts, unless Chris decides to get on here and do one... I don't think that will happen, but you never know. I have a funeral to go to today, the friend I told you about who's dad passed away, I am going to be with her. After the funeral, Christian and I head out to Camp for a week. It should be a good week, I always enjoy going out there, it is so peaceful; but I will miss my hubby!! We should be back Friday evening, so look forward to hearing all about it!

Well, I need to get on the road, I have a 3 hour trip ahead of me... The funeral starts in 4 hours. Take care.

The Big Secret!

Well, it is not that it was a secret, I just never thought to mention it. My last name is now Richards. I am still getting used to it. The UPS guy came by today while I was at my parents house and asked if Geoff Crowther lived there. I told him yes, that is my father. He asked then if my last name was also Crowther, my reply was "it was until Saturday." It is funny, people who don't know you show an interest in you...

Well, we are going to CiCi's for dinner. All y'all from the south, are you missing CiCi's????

The People's Court

Ever watch the people's court? I decided to watch it today, this is pretty funny stuff. So this lady says that her neighbors dog bit off her cats leg. There is no proof of anything. It sounds like the cat lady needs to get a life, the cat was on the other people's property. The judge said the cat lady wins. This is so dumb! She is all proud of it, and I think that she knows that it was not caused by the dog, and even if it was, the stupid cat was on someone else's property! All I have to say is, I am glad it is not me, that is dumb!

Well, I am off to work on my classroom. I have to get some stuff done before I go out of town.

Oh, please pray for my friend Jennifer and her family. Her dad passed away yesterday morning. He had terminal cancer. She is my age so it is really hitting her hard!

Good Morning...

So, we woke up this morning to Chris' cell phone. His Sister in Law Linda was calling to see if we wanted to go to breakfast. Since I promised my brother is law that Chris would spend more time with them, we got up and met them at IHOP. Today was Chris' fathers last day in town, he leaves for Florida in a couple hours. He is such a sweet man. He loves to hug! I have never been to Florida, so one of these days we will take a trip out there to see him. It is amazing how fast time is going by... Soon I will have to go back to work... I kind of like sleeping in each day and not having to worry about lesson plans... but I do miss the kids! I think this will be my last year at that school though, we really want to move up north, and we can't make the move with me tied down. I miss Canada! I said I wouldn't, but I miss it like crazy! Chris and Christian both want to move up north, for that, I am so happy!

Well, I guess that is all for now... Tell me how great you are doing!

Moving on...

So, now it is time to keep trucking. Christian and I went up to the school and started working on my classroom today while Chris was at work. I did not get a whole lot done because there was so much stuff to go through. I talked briefly with the principal about the upcoming school year. I am not sure if I should be worried, or excited about this year. In-service starts on August 9th, and then school starts the following week. Christian and I are going to the church camp next week, Chris has to work :(

Well, that is all for now... we don't really have much going on...

Ok, the wedding is done!!!!!!!!!

Well, after forever planning (as it seemed), we are married and settling in. It was a great day, and I don't think that I would change anything about it. My dress was getting a bit uncomfortable, but other than that, It was wonderful! Chris' family was mostly all there, so I got to meet a lot of them for the first time. His dad was so nice; he gave me a hug about 12 times and told me that I was everything that Chris needed. He also told me I make a beautiful bride... Not something that I ever thought that I would hear. All in all, I am very happy, and excited about the future! Look back to see more soon!
